We often find ourselves following ideas, wasting energies searching for a dream, suffering looking for a Shangri-la, an Eldorado or just some promised land which exists just in our mind. Surely this effort to reach a platonic ideal world where everything is perfect is the only strength which pushes human beings to improve themselves and to grow spiritually trying to outrun the deep imperfection of human nature. But how far are we supposed to go through this hard search? We have to think that nothing is perfect in our world and that the delusion for something that is not like we supposed it had to be often hurts harder than the frustration we suffer when we can’t reach it. Perfect world is too far and probably does not exist. So we can consider a total madness destroying our lives chasing impossible targets: simply we better look for our own special way using a more critical approach.
