GenovaTune è la webzine di riferimento della scena musicale genovese.
È ormai da diversi anni che presentiamo a Chiara Ragnini e agli amici di GenovaTune la nostra musica perché ci piace molto lo stile della webzine ligure, che da parte sua sempre ha dedicato alla nostra band recensioni attente e puntuali.
L’ultima arrivata è la recensione di Morpho Nestira a cura di Giuseppe Cicchitti.

DeBaser è uno dei più importanti siti di recensioni in Italia e conta su una community piuttosto grande.
La sua filosofia è semplice, visto che permette a tutti gli utenti di scrivere le proprie, che sono poi commentate e valutate dagli altri utenti.
Inevitabilmente le grandi band e i grandi dischi storici fanno la parte del leone con decine di recensioni e di discussioni aperte.
Per questo motivo è con grande sorpresa e piacere che ho scoperto che l’amico enbar77 ha deciso di dedicarne una al nostro disco.
Enzo (il vero nome di enbar77) è un appassionato di musica come tutti noi e ha scritto su DeBaser diversi articoli da cui traspare una notevole sintonia con la mia visione della musica e, perché no, della vita.
Per questo motivo le parole che Enzo ha scritto su Morpho Nestira mi fanno doppiamente piacere.

In un paese ormai dominato da immondizie musicali per dirla alla Battiato maniera, un gruppo di ragazzi, ha pensato bene di emigrare in Spagna per creare un complesso e distribuire un pò di buona musica alle orecchie nazionali e internazionali, per chi volesse ascoltarla ovviamente. 12. Oceans of Time
C’è ancora vita dopo il vuoto? Secondo me sì: il germe della resistenza dello spirito umano, la necessità di tendere verso obiettivi più elevati è innato nella nostra anima, almeno quanto il germe della corruzione. Sta a noi cercare di far prevalere l’istinto che ci spinge verso l’innalzamento dello spirito, verso la riconquista e il controllo del nostro Tempo.
Oceans of Time parla di questo e comincia con una ventata di ottimismo. Ho usato rumori “calcistici” per dare una forma semplice e facilmente riconoscibile al momento di aggregazione e di gioia.
A sinistra un coro dei tifosi del Petacciato, la squadra del mio paese, a destra la telecronaca del gol di Grosso nella semifinale del Mondiale, così come l’ho vissuto io (raccontato dalla televisione spagnola Cuatro), mentre al centro è Jordi Orriols che racconta come raggiungere una coscienza superiore: “senti la necessità di alzarti, di andare più in alto per vedere meglio, così che decidi di scalare una montagna, devi reimparare a respirare perché lì l’aria è rarefatta e devi stare attento a dove metti i piedi, perché puoi cadere… è un cammino difficile e nel cammino vedi molta gente che rinuncia per stanchezza, per pigrizia o perché credono che non possono farcela…”.

Inizia la canzone vera e propria: la metamorfosi non è andata come ci aspettavamo, siamo diventati mostri orribili e famelici, ma dentro di noi esiste la forza e la coscienza che ci porterà alla ricerca di una pienezza spirituale, verso una Shangri-La rappresentata dagli Oceani di Tempo.

12. Oceans of Time.
Is there still life where is empty? I think yes: our souls still have the need to resist, fighting to reach the highest goals. We have to fight the poison of corruption to elevate our souls, to conquer our Time again.
Oceans of Time is about this fight and starts with optimism. I used “noises” from football to give a simple and easy to recognizable shape to the happiest moments we share with other human beings.
On the left you can hear the supporters of the ACD Petacciato, the club of my village; on the right there’s the goal scored by Fabio Grosso in the 2006 WC on the Spanish TV Cuatro. In the middle you can hear Jordi Orriols who tells us how we can reach a superior consciousness: “…you’ll feel the need to stand up, to go up to see better, so you decide to climb a mountain. You’ll need to learn breathing again, because the air is lighter there, and you have to be careful to your steps, you could easy fall… it’s a difficult way and you’ll see a lot of people giving up: someone is tired, someone is lazy, others simply believe they can’t…”.

Now starts the song: metamorphosis took other direction, converting ourselves in hungry monsters. But we’ve got inside the strength that will drive us to reach a new and full spiritual conscience, and we’ll finally reach our Shangri-La where we’ll have Oceans of Time.

Our friend Artur Chachlowski will play several songs from Morpho Nestira on his show MLWZ broadcasted on the Polish radio Radio Alfa 102.4 in Krakow.
The show will be on air from 8 to 10 p.m. Wednesday the 6th of May, and will be available by podcast on MLWZ page.
It’s the second time that Artur plays our music, the first was after the release of “The Stairway”… thanks a lot, my friend!!!

Radio Seagull is a well known AM radio station with a long history. It’s a free radio based on a ship standing on International waters between the Netherlands and Great Britain that was launched in 1973.
Thanks to the musician and DJ Lizzie B and our friend Tony Lawson of IMIsound our song “You need” will be broadcasted by this glorious station on the 5th of may in the late night show and the 9th in the afternoon show.
